A larger server and new playtest checks for Ritual

Ritual is now running on its upgraded server. We have moved from 4 GB to 16 GB of RAM and from 2 to 8 shared CPU cores, giving the game and website more room as we invite more people to test.

Your existing accounts and progress have been moved across. Keep using the same website, game login and Ritual launcher.

More room for the next round of testing

Daily server backups are enabled, alongside database and player-state backups every six hours. These give us recovery options if something goes wrong; please still report missing items or lost progress as soon as you notice them.

The upgrade increases capacity, but real sessions are still how we check that Ritual holds up. If you notice delayed actions, disconnects or an area struggling with several players, tell us where you were, the approximate time and what was happening. Client FPS measures rendering on your computer and is separate from server responsiveness.

A bigger playtest guide

The playtest guide now includes 75 activities and 30 new PvM reporting checks, bringing the pass/fail checklist to 41 checks. Existing checks and player reports have been preserved.

The new checks cover entry, combat mechanics, rewards, saving, recovery and repeat kills. The guide also explains the limited checks available for God Wars Dungeon and the Gauntlet, and identifies encounters that need staff-led testing. Check an activity's notes before starting; a development entry does not mean its complete encounter is available on the public world.

Help us test one complete activity

Pick a supported activity, follow its steps and record the result. For a boss, try a second kill and check that collected rewards and recorded progress survive a relog. Leave death and disconnect tests for a staff-coordinated session where the guide asks for one.

A useful report includes the activity, your equipment, what you did, what you expected and what actually happened. Add the approximate time and a screenshot or short clip where possible. Report duplicated items, lost progress and repeatable crashes immediately through support or our Discord.

Before playing, fully close and reopen the Ritual launcher to pick up the latest client. If you need the installer, visit downloads.
